The Butler County Pet Expo, presented by WBUT 1050-AM at the Butler Farm Show grounds on May 4 will feature a day of fun for both animal lovers and their pets alike. The event runs from 10am–4pm and benefits the Butler County Humane Society.

Attendees will enjoy a variety of great vendor booths offering a wide range of pet products and services. Pets are welcome to attend with their owners and can show off their talents in our Silly Pet Trick contest. There will also be a Celebrity or Owner Pet lookalike contest, and Scout Troop 29 will be offering a rabies clinic from 10am-1pm for just $9 per pet.

Other events include demonstrations by the Butler City K-9 Unit, a canine aided search and rescue team, and a horse riding demo by Horse lovers Guide. Children will enjoy a hands-on experience with the petting zoo and pony rides. The event is presented by WBUT 1050-AM to help promote and support the Butler County Humane Society. Admission is $2 per person, or just $1 with a donation of a pet care item for the Humane Society, who will be on hand with pets available for adoption. Exhibit space is available for businesses and organizations interested in participating. Call 724-283-1500 or visit wbut.com for more information.
