Butler County Children’s Center, Inc is celebrating their 40th anniversary in November with a Staff Recognition Dinner. BCCC was founded in 1973 by a group of concerned citizens who recognized that a child care setting should meet children’s physical, academic, emotional and social needs. The Center’s approach would then be to promote healthy growth while preparing children for future success in school, in the community and in the work-force.

Since its inception, the Children’s Center has always acknowledged the importance of retaining qualified teaching staff, providing on-going training and maintaining a high ratio of adults in relation to the children being served. Their mission is to provide a variety of children’s programs and quality services designed to meet the comprehensive needs of families. The Children’s Center achieves this mission by constantly providing and updating programs to best serve the families of Butler County.

The Children’s Center is proud of its current programs that exceed federal and state standards: STAR 4 Child Care, Head Start, Early Head Start, CCIS ( Child Care Information Services) of Butler County, Pre K Counts and CACFP (Child Adult Care Food Program). Visit their website for more information on programs: www.bcccinc.org.
