Building Butler: A Community Leadership Series

New for 2026, Building Butler is a monthly community leadership series designed to spotlight the people and stories driving Butler County forward. Held on the second Tuesday of each month, this free morning event invites community leaders, entrepreneurs, and business executives to go beyond talking about their organizations and instead share their personal leadership journey, lessons learned, and the role they play in keeping our community vibrant and moving forward.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with new people, hear directly from those making a difference locally, and experience the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self.” A hot breakfast will be provided, and the event is free to attend.

Clem Rosenberger
President & CEO, NexTier Bank
Clem Rosenberger has served as President and CEO of NexTier Bank for nearly a decade, bringing close to 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Under his leadership, NexTier has grown into the region’s 11th largest bank, expanding assets from $125 million to nearly $3 billion—over 50% of that growth achieved organically.
NexTier Bank is built on long-term relationships, delivering high-quality financial services to customers, creating meaningful opportunities for employees, and maintaining a deep commitment to local businesses and organizations. Community sits at the heart of NexTier’s mission, and for Clem, that commitment is deeply personal. From his early years, giving back and staying rooted in home have been central to who he is—values that continue to guide both his life and leadership. From day one at NexTier, Clem has led by example, actively engaging with organizations such as the Armstrong School District Foundation and Armstrong County Habitat for Humanity. Clem earned his CPA designation and is a graduate of the American Bankers Association’s National and Graduate Commercial Lending Schools. He is also a proud Leadership Butler County Class of 2016 graduate. Clem and the entire NexTier team operate with a simple but powerful belief: the bank cannot grow unless its communities do.
