Dancing for a Cause - Leadership Butler County Fundraiser
An Evening of Giving for a Cause!
Join us for an unforgettable evening of dancing, entertainment, dinner, raffles, and community spirit as Leadership Butler County presents Dancing for a Cause. Inspired by the excitement of Dancing with the Stars, this one-night-only event will feature local Butler County celebrities paired with student dancers competing in a fun and entertaining dance competition.
All proceeds from the evening will support the Butler County Humane Society and help fund improvements to the shelter’s Dog Enrichment Area.

At the Event
Guests will enjoy a lively evening filled with entertainment, food, and opportunities to give back to the community.
Highlights include:
Catered dinner from Fairground Market
A live dance competition featuring local Butler County celebrities and student dancers
Judges and audience voting to determine the winning pair
Complimentary beverages included with ticket purchase
Games of Chance, including a 50/50 raffle and basket raffles
A chance to win a fully stocked bar cart
Guests can enter the bar cart raffle by bringing a donation valued at approximately $10 to support the dogs using the new agility course. Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase at the event for those unable to bring a donation item.
Seating will be first-come, first-served, and full tables may be purchased to guarantee seating for your group.
Supporting the Butler County Humane Society
The Leadership Butler County Class of 2026 project focuses on improving the Butler County Humane Society’s Dog Enrichment Area.
Planned improvements include:
Construction of a new agility course
Creation of a stress-free zone for reactive dogs
These upgrades will give dogs more opportunities for exercise, skill-building, and positive interaction—helping them build trust and become better prepared for adoption.

Guests bringing a donation to support the agility course may consider:
6-foot leashes with traffic handles
15-foot (or longer) leashes
Chain leashes
Gentle Leaders
Barkbay harnesses
Martingale collars (Medium–XL)
Tough toys or durable balls (no ropes)
High-value training treats
Poop bags
Training clickers
These items will directly support dogs using the new agility course and stress-free enrichment yard.
