The Butler County Chamber of Commerce is proud to celebrate the grand opening of Vitalia Wood Fired Oven’s first brick-and-mortar location in Cranberry Township.
Founded by Francesca and Emilio Veneziano, Vitalia is a family-owned business rooted in tradition, heritage, and a deep love for authentic Italian pizza. As first-generation Italian-Americans, both founders were shaped by family legacies tied to pizza-making—traditions passed down from fathers who immigrated to the United States as teenagers and built careers around the craft.
Francesca and Emilio first worked together as teenagers at a local pizza shop, where a shared passion for food, craftsmanship, and community began. That passion eventually grew into Vitalia Wood Fired Oven—a mobile, wood-fired pizzeria that has served neighborhoods and events across Western Pennsylvania. Today, their journey reaches a major milestone with the opening of their first permanent location, while their original pizza truck continues to roll.
Vitalia’s name honors both sides of the Veneziano family and their Italian roots, which continue to inspire everything they do—from dough fermentation to ingredients to cooking over an open flame. Their mission remains simple: to serve honest, wood-fired pizza made with intention, tradition, and love.
The opening of this brick-and-mortar location represents grit, hard work, determination, and a true labor of love for this growing family-owned business.
